Should you be utilizing your insurance for services rendered, JSTS is unable to offer sliding fee scales, as our contracts with insurance companies require us to bill their patients/subscribers at the provided rates.
All patients receiving medication management are required to be in ongoing therapy with one of JSTS’ clinicians. The frequency of psychotherapy sessions is determined by the clinicians based on your clinical needs. In the course of treatment, should the team decide that you have attained maximum benefit from therapy but continue to need medications, we will continue providing medication only services
JSTS may require that you share past medical records upon request prior to initiating services to ensure we are able to provide appropriate services for you.
JSTS does not specialize in dual diagnosis services. Should the team decide that substance dependence related issues significantly contribute to the clinical issues, you may be referred to substance dependence related services.
JSTS may require that you share past medical records upon request prior to initiating services to ensure we are able to provide appropriate services for you.

Payment & Insurance

We are In-Network with Aetna, Independence Blue Cross Personal Choice, Independence Blue Cross Keystone Health Plan East, Amerihealth, Independence Administrators, Cigna, United, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO/ Highmark, and Quest. We are not in-network with Medicare, Medicaid, and do not take Keystone First as a primary nor a secondary insurance.

Should you desire to submit an invoice to your insurance company to obtain an Out-Of-Network benefit, we will be happy to provide one for you.

Lastly, we accept most credit cards, checks, and cash as forms of payment. Certain Flex/FSA cards are able to be processed, however this is not guaranteed . We can provide you with an invoice to submit to the company managing your Flex Plan so that you can be reimbursed for what you pay us upfront. We expect payment at the time services are rendered. The reason that some FSA cards are declined has to do with our SIC code given to us by the state that deems us more related to counseling/social services than medical, justified by the percentage breakdown of therapeutic services strongly outnumbering psychiatric and medication management services at the practice. Our SIC code designation is outside of our control, however we apologize for any inconvenience you may encounter should your card be declined when run with our credit card processor, Cardpointe.
